Lin Yi was originally a prodigy in the sect and the chief disciple of Luoyun Peak. However, he was framed by his junior disciple, Tang San. The sect master, Liu Ruyan, and the senior female disciple, Yun Yao, showed partiality towards the scheming junior disciple and blamed all the faults on Lin Yi. Lin Yi endured cruel torture in Zixiao Pavilion, yet he remained blindly loyal to the sect. In the end, he was killed by the sect master and his junior disciple.
