Three years ago, Laura, heiress to the Lewis Group, the nation's wealthiest conglomerate, and a business legend, came to Maplewood to investigate an investment project. There, she fell head over heels for the unknown Ben Harrison. She hid her true identity, married Ben, and secretly helped his company become a rising star in Maplewood. After marriage, Laura worked as a cleaner at Sheppard Group and helped the group's CEO, Bryan Shepherd, resolve a business crisis. To express his gratitude, Bryan offered Ben, Laura's husband, a $100 million business contract.
