Vera, a wealthy‑family heir, had long cared for Kelly, the nanny’s daughter, only to be betrayed in return. Kelly stole Vera’s identity, secondary credit card and boyfriend, and splurged recklessly at an auction. No longer holding back, Vera exposed the fake identity in public and reclaimed control over her assets. To pay off massive debts, Kelly stole the $6‑million Blue Flame Diamond. In the end, both she and Blake were sentenced. Having survived the betrayal, Vera set up a debt‑related legal aid center and found love with Arthur, who always respected her boundaries.
