A gifted apprentice Elora takes the fall for her brother and goes to prison. She gives birth to a dragon-blooded son behind bars, but is lied to that the infant died. Half a year later, she works as a servant at the Healing Temple and unexpectedly meets Karendyn, the Dark Dragon Lord. His crying toddler Ember grows peaceful only in her embrace. Elora moves into the old castle to look after the boy and slowly develops feelings for the lord. Yet she restrains herself and pulls back due to their status gap and his fiancée’s interference. Eventually, she makes a sensational splash in a design contest. Her mother wakes up and exposes the truth, and the family of three is reunited at last.
