Amanda, adopted by the Lucas family, finds out her fiancé Chris faked his death to impersonate his twin brother and had an affair with his sister‑in‑law Vivienne. Overwhelmed with despair, she marries Evan, the powerful head of the Reynolds family rumored to be disfigured and comatose, in place of her best friend Lily. Unbeknownst to her, Evan woke up a year ago. He is the man who saved her from a car accident and paid for her corneal transplant five years earlier. At their wedding banquet, Evan takes off his mask, reveals his identity, backs Amanda up and settles scores with the Lucas family.
